Not better than my Playbar

Not impressed with the Beam as compared to my old Playbar. Ordered subwoofer and 2 SL speakers to see if the sound improves in our great room.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Poor Sound Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Crisp Audio

This is my TV soundbar. The sound is rich, crisp, and fills the room. I occasionally use it to stream music with the audio quality being better than my Alexas by far.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Superior Sound

Amazing for playing games as well, played Resident Evil 2 remake, it sounded as if I was transported into the game
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound

Disappointing audio quality, easy set up and use

I installed my Beam under my TV in my small living room. I use my Beam primarily for music / podcasts and am extremely underwhelmed. I'm not an audiophile, but the audio sounds extremely weak / underpowered and has basically no bass (I realize there is no Sub). My previous Sony and Samsung sound bar setups were far superior and cheaper.

Cons: Poor Sound Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The beam takes clear, crisp picture of a modern tv and aligns it to a clear and crisp sound. An unbeatable combination!

Dialogue is too low.

Sounds great for music. The only issue I have is that the movie dialogue sounds is too low.

The Beam soundbar sounds great in my 15' x 14' room without a sub. I had a unique installation problem and the Sonos help team excelled in helping with the installation and answering my questions in a very timely fashion.
