We purchased our new sound bar since our old one wouldn't work with our new tv. So far we are pleased with it, sound is great! It was recommended by the gentleman who helped us with install of both products. Good quality.
Pros: Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound

This made our movie experience way better, and when it comes to gaming it blew our mind!
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Night Mode, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound, Versatile, Wireless Surround Sound

Great Sound but narrow in scope of installation

I guess sound bars are not meant for the retired. I am sorry because we like them- what we don't like is the complicated steps in setting them up or having a young installer set it up totally thru my iPhone and then leave without showing me how to access it. Keep it simple. I work a lot of the day and do volunteer work as well. I do not spend my time in my phone all day. In fact I only access messages once or twice a day. So I do not want any tech sound system going thru my phone unless I ask it to and have the option to do it. That is all. Give people the option and have the option be one that seniors who have lives doing other things can easily manage. Aside from that the sound is great. I now have to have another tech come to my house to reset it and show me how to use it better. Gonna cost me more!!

I researched several different systems and brands online and in the store. I was looking for an affordable mid range sound bar to watch TV but mostly to stream music. The Beam Gen 2 has a very good full depth of sound, great app, no problems with connectivity (wifi), amd some nice customization options. Set up was easy and straightforward. I easily move it from the living room to the kitchen (better for listening when cooking) and it hooks up every time in just seconds. Only downside is I am not able to stream to the Beam with my laptop computer (that I am aware of), but that's not a deal breaker. So overall a lot of product for the price ($450) making it a great value in my estimation.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Superior Sound, Versatile
Cons: No streaming from laptop

sometimes I get an ECHO NEED TO MOVE FROM WHITE LIGHT TO GREEN TO STOP (FRONT OF Speaker)

Very easy to install and add to my existing Sonos system. The small footprint of Beam makes it easy to place under a TV. Excellent mid and high frequency response, good low end and stereo separation. The Beam allows you to listen to TV audio, stream internet content (radio, podcasts etc) and any audio on an I phone.The TV audio is good and speech enhancement is very good. Streaming YouTube music videos to a TV and to the Beam adds a whole new dimension to YouTube. The I phone connectivity is easy and a useful feature (Android would be a good addition). Streaming to other speakers allows listening in other locations when away from the TV or can create a home theatre environment.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Free Control Options, I PHONE compatible, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
