So easy to set up and really enhances the sound for movies & sporting events. Love the music when not watching tv. Looking forward to expanding system

Not backward compatible with all the S1 equipment I have invested in. A split cumbersome ineffective system is not an option as you suggest. Be careful, no doubt an S3, S4 will come in the future and make your working equipment non compatible
Cons: Difficult To Setup

We have a large family room and the beam fits the bill. We added a mini sub and that has really enhanced the sound. Now when the family comes to visit the grand kids love the full sound of their movies and music they listen to. One more note very easy to set up with the app. Good value well worth the money

Amazing bar

Such clear sound without all the wires. My dog hears sounds and barkslike someone is at the door.

The new Beam is a difference make in our new home theater.

We had the first generation beam upstairs and just bought the new version for our basement. Voices are clear and big sounds are big. It's awesome.
