This product would work well for a small room but not for a room over 12x12. Also I purchased this product for my back patio and it is not equipped to handle the space. It needs more Boom Boom and character wit the sound.
Family room use with odd room dimensions off of the open kitchen. Dialogue is better, surround effects harder to discern on a non traditional room, but when applicable, surround effects are noticeable. Two Sonos Ones would probably be helpful, but not necessary. Now I'm considering a sub mini too, but low end from the beam is very impressive.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound
I was very hesitant to get rid of my 5.1 surround sound system but the wires always drove me crazy. I rented a VRBO for a month and they had a Sonos Arc and I was blown away by the quality and depth/bass coming from this small device. Bought the Sonos Beam Gen 2 and expected it wouldn't be as good but figured I would add the wireless surround speakers and subwoofer later. Within a few days I realized I didn't need any of the other stuff. This little gadget delivers amazing, immersive sound and was a breeze to set up. Turned it up once and had a neighbour complain that he could hear the bass from downstairs. And this guy never once complained about my 5.1 system and I knew I'd made the right choice. Super happy to have such great sound come from something with such a small footprint. Works amazing with both movies, TV and just stream from my phone.
Pros: Easy to Set Up, Expandable, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound
This sound bar is by far one of the best midrange options out there. I love Sonos ecosystem! I started off with SYMFONISK (IKEA x Sonos) speaker and it was good, really good. But I was indeed of replacing my Sony 2:1 sound bar. I knew it would be a difference between the two, but not like this. I would highly recommend this sound bar
Pros: Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Night Mode, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound
Ok I hate to admit it but this might be worth the price.

I bought this after exhausting more affordable options. I bought an LG OLED and the sound was terrible and on top of that it is in a large room with a lot of echo, basically could not hear talking without cranking it and making it super loud and still was very poor audio. Tried an LG soundbar sub solution even worse. Beam fixed all!
Pros: Easy to use, Night Mode, Speech enhancement, Superior Sound
