I cannot recommend this product highly enough. It performs admirably, with no technical issues whatsoever. The sound is awesome, and compares favorably with stand-alone speakers that cost twice as much.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Superior Sound, Wireless Surround Sound

Great sound at a cost

I received my Sonos Gen 2 from a rewards program. The sound is pretty good all around but you have to almost max the volume out for TV. I don't have the bass or satellite speakers. I love I can use voice control using Alexa. The only problem I see other than volume is cost. Again, I didn't pay for mine directly. Sonos is an expensive system. I would love to add the bass speaker but no way at what it cost.
Pros: Dolby Digital 5.1, Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Versatile, Wireless Surround Sound
Cons: Cost, Low volume for TV

Great addition to my Sonos Ecosystem

Added this Sonos Beam to my Lanai TV. Great addition to my existing Sonos ecosystem. I can now play music or listen to TV inside and outside simulaneously.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Easy to use, Superior Sound, Versatile

I would not buy this item again

It is used as a TV speaker. The voice is ok but there is a pronounced bass drone that varies during broadcast mostly during commercials and movies. It is very disturbing . I have tried adjusting the unit but the sound issue persists. It does not have the "surround sound' effect that my older speaker had that was half the price. I have had a tech person try to adjust with little effect.
Pros: Speech enhancement
Cons: Difficult to Use, Poor Sound Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've been using Sonos products in our home for over a decade. Adding the Beam to our existing setup was fast and easy. It's warm clear sound fills the room. We're extremely satisfied with this purchase.

The Beam sound bar pairs perfectly with our Samsung frame tv! Watching movies and tv shows with the Beam adds a whole new depth of experience for me!

Didn't expect such great sound from the smaller Beam 2. I was planning on adding the bass and satellite speakers to the system but not sure if I need them.
