Toaster never worked. Wouldn’t stay down. The body just felt cheap. So disappointed as I already own several Cuisinart products that are very good.

It simply doesn’t work. It was touchy when we first started using it, and now, just 2 weeks later, the bread brackets will not click in the down position so the bread will not toast. Don’t buy one. We’ve trashed ours - would not even give it Goodwill.

This is a no nonsense toaster that is simple to use and just works beautifully. It consistently toasts uniformly on both sides of the bread and works well with frozen waffles. Also, it is very reasonably priced.
