I purchased a special edition bottle with the gold medal bottom. I loved that bottle, but it was defective. I contacted Sodastream and they sent me 2 new ones. I would’ve preferred 1 new gold one, but I am happy that they made things right. As my mom used to say, beggars can’t be choosers”. 2 new black bottles is better than zero bottles. :)
Contact was super easy. The new bottles were received in a timely manner. The best outcome to an unpleasant situation.

I wish I could get pint soda bottles. I really love the concept, but with just me I find my tonic goes flat before I can use a quart of tonic.

Not dishwasher safe

The lip to this bottle warped inside my dishwasher. Beware of putting these (even on the top rack) in the dishwasher. The plastic melted near the lip so it does not fit in the Soda Stream machine, the caps will no longer fit. Just be careful. I now have a useless plastic tube.

Not liking the new bottles

I bought a new machine because since replacing the original bottles that came with the machine were expiring. Those old bottles kept the bubbles going for 4-5hours. These new bottles only keep the carbonation for 1-2 hours. Disappointed
