Too fragile for function

I received this water bottle as a gift. It was fairly convenient for the short time it was usable. I had it sitting on top of my car and a burst of wond sent it tumbling to the ground. The straw was closed, but part of the plastic interior mechanism broke and the the bottle is now useless. The warranty does not cover drops and there are no replacement lids for purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Suction is bad on this product

After washing my tops by hand and putting the strw attachment back together the suction was awful.

Broken lid component

Absolutely loved this bottle … until I noticed the spout wouldn’t open. Checked inside and it appeared some plastic components had snapped apart. Have only had since Christmas so bummed! But loved it while it lasted!

I LOVE THIS

I purchased the pink. I love this water bottle. I take it to work everyday and I have actually forgotten it over night and the next day it still had ice inside that lasted my whole shift. I have been using this since June and this morning I noticed I was not getting any water. Where the spout pops out has gotten a tear in it that’s preventing water flow. Right at the base.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved it, until....

Ice never melted, it was 1 handed, I loved this water bottle until, I was cleaning it one day. That's when I noticed the black spot down deep inside where the straw goes. I used a straw brush to clean, I tried reaching the spot with a toothpick,, anything skinny and strong enough to get to that spot I tried, to no avail. So, that is when I decided to sacrifice my beloved water bottle,,, I pulled the flexible rubber piece that holds the straw & meets the mouth piece out. It was horrible, there is NO way to get this clean. After I removed it, I tried to put it back, just to see if it was "removable" & I had never known it. Once removed, it will not go back into place. I am just heartbroken, I love this water bottle.
I want to give 5 stars across the board, but just since having this issue, I have to lower the stars,, fix this and it will be 5 stars, hands down.

Buy One!

I love my Contigo bottles and mugs - this chill bottle is one of their best products. Keeps water cold for days! I also have an older model with another style lid, but this one is better with the side lock and the easy clean feature. It's convenient to take my water with me and not worry about it leaking. I've put it in my bags and had it laying down in the car - no leaking. I like to clean mine every once in a while with the Polident retainer tabs in addition to using those little brushes inside the lid. I've had some of these bottles for years and the water still tastes fresh and still stays cold for as long as it did when the bottle was new.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved this bottle but started to leak @ 6 weeks of use. Seal on cap don’t seal tight anymore. Very bummed.

I'd love how could was my water, but now it isn't

I was so happy when I purchased my bottle, that I bought for all my family. It did work perfect for a while, but suddenly it begun to look watery outside and 2 hours after filling it up, it wasn't Cold anymore.. It's very sad because I really loved to weak up in the middle of the night and have my very Cold water there for me. Not any more.
