Definitely fresher, stronger, richer taste and aroma buying direct. Grocery store option excellent too. But freshly roasted and ground from Peets was a whole different level flavor and depth

I am, at this very moment, drinking my very first cup of Peet's Coffee (Major Dickason's Blend). Whole bean, 8:1, French press, 203° F,1 minute bloom, 4 minutes total, black. You would think with all the fuss of a Japanese tea ceremony, I would pick out the right coffee. Well until this morning, I had not (Starbucks Pike Place, French Roast, others) . Now I have. It's Fraiser Crane at Café Nervosa. Please accept my apology for waiting too long to switch. I'll make it up to us somehow. ☕

What happened?! From amazing to bitter…

Been drinking this coffee for months. Had wonderful bold smooth flavor. Easy to drink without adding anything. I thought the bag a month back was a fluke. A few more bags in, it’s clearly bitter with a very acidic aftertaste. Took me ages to find a coffee in the states that even compares to ‘real coffee’. Not sure where you guys are trying to save a dollar but knock it off. About to lose a lot of business.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
