I have tried all sorts of coffee blends and always come back to Major D’s. It is so smooth, bold and not nearly as acidic tasting as a French roast. I do put a bit of half and half in my coffee, but no other flavors or sweeteners. Major D’s is the perfect drinking coffee, no doctoring needed!

I forgot how good this tasted! When I lived in Seattle Peet's was ubiquitous. It was always my fave coffee & coffee shop for the 16 years I lived in Seattle. Now it's 10 years later and 3000 miles distance, not a Peet's to be found. Thank goodness for the Interwebs!
Been a while since I had a cup of Major D. I'm so glad I bought it. I'm a very dark (roast) kind of guy. This works well for my tastebuds. I couldn't tell you if it has notes of cigarette ash & shoe leather or dark chocolate & blueberries. I just know I want more every time I drink it black. Major Yum!

We occasionally veer off course to try some other blends or single source or regional coffees, which is fun and keeps things alive, but we always come back to this reliable and delicious blend.
