This is one of Peet's most popular roasts and beans. The key here is starting with the right blend of beans, sources of which are somewhat secret. I'd put some in Indonesia for sure and perhaps some Brazilian.

I've been drinking this wonderfully balanced blend of coffee for over a year now. It's totally satisfying in three major sensory areas; smell, tastes, seeing. Never has a coffee 's taste lived up to its aroma for me before this blend. Another wonderful fact is that I can brew it strong like I love my coffee and it won't upset my stomach. Previously I would have to switch coffee brands because my stomach would start resisting my consumption of it. This has not happened with this blend. I love the rich dark color of the coffee. Another characteristic if have notice is that even if I drink it very strong I don't get the same jittery feeling as with other strong coffee. I'm so thankful Mr. Peet left us with this legacy. May you never discontinue the Major Dickason's Blend.
