Gets caught on carpet ends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] iRobot Roomba 205 Dust Compactor Combo Robot is not what I was expecting. I have a washable rug and the roomba could not go over it without sucking up the ends. It kept getting stuck. I have a hairy dog and between my hair and the dog, it got tangled immediately. I had to stop it half way through because it wasn't really vacuuming up properly. I had to cut the hair off the sweeper. It was the normal amount that it has been.
Charging was fast and I didn't have any problems with the app or programming. It docked fine and knew what to do. I just don't think this is a logical thing to purchase for what I need. Its not very durable.

Easy to just let it run! Better for flat floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
As someone who has a dog who sheds constantly, a Roomba like this is a godsend. I think it actually works better than my push vacuum, but that’s a few years old now.
I will preface with the fact that I have uneven floors. I have very bumpy tiles, and vacuuming / mopping has always been a point of contention for me because getting in between the tiles is difficult.
Installation of everything is easy as pie. I had no qualms with getting it ready to go, and the app walks you through it.
The suction is fantastic and it picks up a good majority of the hair and dirt. It obviously can’t get everything, but it gets a lot up. While this certainly won’t replace a full deep clean, it’s perfect for running throughout the week to make that deep clean easier. It maps out the house and gets around using the map. You can block off certain areas and it will learn to not go into those areas. It might sneak under some chairs, but anywhere there’s a tight fit it will probably miss.
The mop is not made for uneven floors. I might try to replace it with a fluffier mop head, but until then, what it does is fine. As you can tell from the image, it did manage to wipe most of the tile. However, you can only fill it with water. But like the vacuum, it just helps make the deep clean easier.
The battery life is pretty good for a standard clean. I have a weird shaped house, so that doesn’t help that it has to calibrate to find the next location. When I do a deep clean of my kitchen, with a vacuum and mop, it took about 40% of the battery to do so. Images of the kitchen and how it cleaned it are in my review. It missed a few crumbs with the vacuum and missed the cracks of the tiles with the mop, but it otherwise did a good job.
Emptying out the collector is so easy. Pop it out, dump, pop it back in. That easy. Cleaning the mop is also easy, I just toss it in the laundry with some other cleaning rags and it’s good as new.
One issue I have with this product is that sometimes the edge sensors does not work very well. Sometimes the vacuum has no issues avoiding the edge of a stair, other times it does. I do clean the floor sensors when advised but it doesn’t always work as well as I would hope. It can get a little frustrating, but it’s only around one area of my house, so I just have to stay nearby to make sure it’s okay.
Overall, I would recommend this product for any household, but I think it would work best on a flat floor household. That and the sensor issues took away a star, but I am otherwise super pleased with this product. If Roomba ever makes a bumpy floor Roomba, sign me up. This makes my life easier and I really love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is pretty cool and pretty simple to set up. We use it in our back room where the cats litter boxes are. We run it about once a day to get up litter. Beats having to sweep everyday.

Gets everywhere!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay this thing is cool. It is very quiet and vacuum's pretty quickly. My cat normally hates the vacuum and this doesn't seem to bother him. I only complaint is because it's such a small unit, it needs to be cleaned pretty regularly. Otherwise, it's a really cool piece and I can see why people love their Roombas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent vacuum , just turn it on and it goes without you needing to do anything .
The vacuum set up was a breeze , easily connected to my phone and mapped out my living room quickly.
Once mapped out , it started deep cleaning and did well for such a small device . My living room looked very nice after , once done the vacuum went back to its base for charging .

Mighty cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Powerful suction and the mopping is extremely powerful. Excellent cleaning performance, navigation, and accurate mapping. The Roomba operate quietly and I appreciate the dust bin that's bigger than other brands. The roomba size allows it to dock under the furniture and the battery last for a long time and it recharges automatically. Clean house and less chore to do!!!

Quiet, powerful and beefy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All I can say is if you’re looking for a big, beefy and powerful robot vacuum that traverses on a dime, this is it and you should look no further. I’ve always wanted an iRobot roomba - like a dream of mine honestly and this bad boy is worth every penny and some. I’d like to start by saying o literally vacuumed my floor yesterday and this thing put me to shame it picked up SO much dirt I can’t believe it. I love the mapping, the sensors underneath make it so it doesn’t blindly run into things aggressively whatsoever AND it can mop?! I’m blown away. When I first started it I didn’t even know it was going it’s so quiet but REALLY powerful at the same time. Genuinely so in love I don’t even have words.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every home needs one of these magic machines. It makes such a difference in-between vacuums with the big guy. Having a pet, you almost definitely need it and this one is amazing!
