Pretty Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works, but it takes a lot longer to do the job and stops several times throughout the process. I live in a small apartment and only have the roomba mapped to do my living room/kitchen, and it will still take over 4 hours to complete the job. After 45 minutes of vacuuming it stops to charge for over 2 hours because it won’t work under 30% battery. This is just the LIVING ROOM/KITCHEN of a small apartment. Anytime, I have tried to get it to start cleaning again it will go for a few minutes and come right back (even if it’s gone up to 60%). Extremely frustrating for an item this expensive. However, it has a strong vacuum and a mop feature. The only thing I don’t like about the mop feature is that you can only add water (according by to the instructions), so it’s not actually cleaning or disinfecting. It is just spraying water on the floor. Overall, a pretty big letdown. I can’t believe at its price it takes over 4 hours to what I can do in about 15 minutes.

Such a time saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Roomba!!! Set up instructions were so easy straight out of the box, and really easy to navigate when you get to know the app! I love that I can scan the room & time cleans - it really makes chores so much easier. I am working on navigating some of the barriers given there are levels to the home, but I think that is just a learning curve for me, rather than a product issue. I love that not only is this roomba able to vacuum, but it is able to mop as well, and is pretty quiet for all it can do!
Really easy to empty the dust compartment, as there is straight forward directions to do so. Saving me time and energy, this product is everything I could dream of!

Great hands free clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do like this roomba it makes my life a bit easier on the mopping and vacuuming side. It is kinda loud but it’s very durable. I don’t like the mapping in the app it’s kinda complicated no real information on what area you want it go or don’t, so it just ended up doing the kitchen and living and diner room not any bedrooms or bathrooms. Battery life seems pretty good it goes home when it’s done.

Works well once you figure it out

I have to say that setting this up is neither simple nor quick; this is definitely quite time-consuming and a lot more work than I was expecting. It comes with no type of manual; you do have to set it up in the app. I like being able to visually see what I'm supposed to be doing. It does give you some information, but not really on the app. I had to look up information on YouTube because I couldn't figure out why I had certain parts. This also would not register on the dock well on the carpet, even though the carpet really is not super plush. I decided not to do a map and just let it do its own thing. It seems to do a good job without actually going through the whole mapping setup.

My New Favorite Robot Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this IRobot Roomba Robot Vacuum this has a dust compactor that crushes dirt and debris inside the robot as it cleans no emptying for months this vacuums and mops with intense suction and leaves my floors barefoot clean I can clean by room or zone this has integrated lidar that ensures complete mapping navigation and room coverage while safely avoiding obstacles I can choose vacuuming mopping or both it detects and avoids mopping carpet and I can customize with the easy to use app this really cleans my floors so well it is made with exceptional quality it is easy to set up and operate it is worth the money I would buy this over and over I would recommend trying I am extremely happy with this and how well it works

Vacuum mop helper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Influenster and Irobot sent me this Roomba 208 DustCompactor Combo Robot Vacuum & Mop for free in exchange for my honest thoughts. Let me start with the unboxing, I literally had to check out the box and look it up online because I couldn’t for the life of me find the water tank on this little vacuum. I was expecting this large tank on the back of the dock, well not anymore! It’s all in one the mop attachment just clicks on the bottom of the Roomba and the water or cleanser is stored inside of it. Ok now back to the vacuum it’s the same size as all other robot vacuums, but the dock is a little larger than a cell phone! The vacuum maps out your house avoiding main obstacles and I have to say it does very well with not hitting against everything. The sweeper tucks all the dirt away inside the Roomba and stores it until you empty it, lots of room in there don’t worry. The mop sprays out your water or cleaning solution and the microfiber cloth cleans it up. This cloth is machine washable and reusable. The machine even learns your house and where you have carpet and where it needs to mop so that your carpet doesn’t get sprayed. Overall this is a great robot vacuum that you can set from your phone to have your floors vacuumed and mopped when you come home.

Great WHEN it works, but I had several issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is great when it works, but I’ve encountered several issues with it. Setup was pretty easy for the most part. It worked great the first time I used it. It got stuck a couple times when I scheduled it to clean while I wasn’t home. One time it got ahold of a phone charger that was behind the couch and got caught in it. I’m wondering it that has caused damage to the roller brush. I’ve noticed the vacuum making a rattling noise sometimes when it is traveling. For a couple days, I was having an issue where the the app wasn’t working to start a cleaning route. Like it would only let me manually pressed the power button on the vacuum, not start it from the app. I rebooted a couple times, and remapped my apartment, and it seems to be working okay now. I really enjoy it when it works, but for the price, I’m kinda upset at the issues that I’ve had with it.
