[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the split power base after my husband had surgery and couldnt lie flat to sleep. I never really thought I'd use my side much but I was wrong! I have always read in bed before sleep and relied on pillows to keep me propped up. Many nights that would cause pain in my back. With the power base I can now be in a perfect position for reading and when its time for lights out I just push a button to get me back to flat. Pretty awesome! My husband has been able to incrementally get himself back to flat sleeping and if he finds himself uncomfortable during the night he just raises his head a bit. One of the best purchases we have ever made.

He broke his back years ago and is in constant pain, but this bed has made it so much easier for him to be able to sleep by adjusting his head and feet to where it's actually comfortable for him.
