The set-up was easiest of any previous pc I owned in this century. I like especially the number of USB and HDMI ports provided plus the mini size of the device.
At times, though, the fan goes into hyperspeed mode and makes a lot of noise. I'm not sure if that's a defect or necessary way to cool down the processor.

Likes: it’s new
Dislikes: moving files from old Dell very cumbersome. One Drive push is not appreciated as I have my own backup system. I still can’t tell if I have all my files migrated so I have to keep my old system up for a few more months until I’m able to check all of them very disappointing overall!!!

It's a good little machine, but thus far it hasn't been able to successfully run Photoshop. I upgraded the configuration to have 32GB of RAM and added a 4K monitor. But, the system keeps freezing in the middle of various Photoshop operations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HP has been iterating on their 'Desktop Mini' line of PCs for some time, and I'm happy to report that they've really nailed down cooling and acoustics; these units don't get loud even under sustained heavy loads. They really pack a punch, especially with the latest AMD and Intel processors.
Highly recommended.
