I have had a Pixel since they first came out. I could not justify the almost 2k price for the 10pro so when I saw this one on sale, I grabbed it. It is the most beautiful colour.

All the phone you need

Loving this phone for the following reasons
1/ clean iPhone-like interface
2/ Gemini AI capabilities tightly integrated with Google apps
3/ takes great photos
4/ as an iPhone user I like how I can use the built-in AI to (relatively) quickly learn how to use an Android phone! All you do is click and hold the power button and it'll bring up an AI assistant that can read your screen and answer ANY and ALL questions you may have. Right down to little details such as asking what each symbol or button does on any particular screen you may be on. It's a game changer!

I got last year's model and it's still an amazing phone but for cheaper! It uses the same chip as the current entry level pixel model 10a so why pay more??

Pretty good for a non-flagship

I've become a light phone user over the years - no heavy mobile gaming any more for me. The Pixel 9a works well for my needs - it's a good size, is pretty responsive, and the modern features I didn't have on my older phone are nice. I'm not sure I'd call it bloat but there are a lot of intrusive notifications I'm still turning off even a week after migrating. Also, while nice, the body is ultra slippery. It's fine in the hand but when I put the phone down on a slightly sloped surface, it eventually slides off and hits the ground. I ended up buying a case just to provide extra friction and to stick a magnetic backing for my mount in my car.

Acts as a pixel should, better battery life than the older models. Nice interface, fast enough for my use with a nice screen and camera. All the basics are checked off with this one!

Best android phone for the price

Quality built at a nice boxing day price. Unmatched pixel camera and battery is large. Seven years of updates. Built in VPN. Hoping I will not be buying another phone for a while.
