I switched from an old secondhand wireless mouse to this new steelseries mouse, it had crazy value and was cheaper than anything secondhand, a rare sight these days, the mouse feels amazing and has greatly improved my aim (in Overwatch it has went from 36% to nearly 50%!)
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had rival 700 and 710
The had the double click issue after many years of use and a teenagers violent use.
I bought this mouse and it's even better somehow, despite being wireless.
I can effortless use it for own pc (with receiver) and work pc (Bluetooth)
So win-win.
All i lack on the new aeros is being able to store profiles on the mouse, as 700 and 710 could.
But it's just the cherry on the top, and not nessesary. Only a great feature.

[Build & weight]
The Aerox 5 Wireless is genuinely light, you notice it immediately. Coming from smaller mice, the sizing takes a short adjustment period, but it doesn't take long before the shape starts to feel natural. The honeycomb shell, which looked like it might feel strange or clinical in hand, turned out to be a pleasant surprise: the holes create a subtle texture that actually feels nice against the palm rather than distracting from it.

[RGB & software]
The RGB implementation here is more interesting than the usual static glow. Through SteelSeries GG, you can tie lighting behavior to in-game events so the mouse responds visually to what's happening on screen. It's the kind of feature that sounds gimmicky until you're actually using it, at which point it genuinely adds something to the experience.

[Battery life]
Battery life is one of the Aerox 5 Wireless's strongest points. It lasts long enough that charging becomes an occasional task rather than a routine one, and when you do plug in, it doesn't keep you waiting. The low battery notification via the app is a small but thoughtful touch :) no unpleasant surprises mid-session.

[Verdict]
A well-rounded wireless gaming mouse that delivers where it matters. The weight, battery, and reactive lighting make it easy to recommend, and the honeycomb design once you get past expectations, turns out to be one of its quiet highlights.

For the past few years, I've only bought SteelSeries products (headsets, mice, keyboards, etc.), and I've never been disappointed! Once again, the product is excellent, really well-designed, with good battery life—in short, very pleasant to use every day! The SteelSeries Engine software for customizing the mouse from A to Z is a real bonus :) The only minor issue I have with this mouse is that the last button is a bit far for my small hands, but it's a negligible flaw because the other buttons are sufficient for most of the games I play! Thank you, SteelSeries!
