The case stand feature is poorly designed. It’s very awkward to extend. The case is very heavy. I would not recommend this product

I have had several Otter Box cases. I’ve never disliked them until this one. This feels cheap despite its cost. It is extremely difficult to open and use after storing it. The stand is impossible to use. It gets stuck and you collapse it. The stand has an opening for your IPencil while charging it . But no place to store your pencil when not in use. This model case was the only one available for my IPad model. I like that it protects my IPad but that is the only thing I like. It is not user friendly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When we are in the market for a new Apple product, the first thing I do is buy the OtterBox Defender case specific to that product. My goal is to have the OtterBox case arrive prior to the Apple product arriving. This way, the Apple product receives what I believe to be the ultimate in protection from OtterBox immediately right out of the box. Thank you OtterBox for such awesome protection over the years.
