Bad Design. That why it's no longer sold???

Had PowerMax blender 2 years but only used maybe once a month. Blender burnt up while making a smoothie without any frozen ingredients. I had to give Hamilton Beach a list of ingredients and the blending process I used. As if I don't know how to use a blender. Also, there are no suitable blender replacements so had to choose a different overpriced item. Hamilton Beach must know by now that this is a defective design. I'm guessing that's why it's no longer available.

Less than a year with it,I wanted tu make a smoothie, pressed the pulse button and it launch the ice cubes breaking the glass container!?how do I get another if not my refund? Thanks

Haven’t had it long enough to know if I like it

Just got this blender, so I’ve only tried it out to make sure it runs. I chose it for the 48 oz. glass jar. Those can be hard to find. It wasn’t any noisier than other blenders I’ve had, but it isn’t quiet. It has 3 speeds, all of which worked when I tried it. For the price I’m sure it will be fine. I’d have paid more for a more powerful machine but couldn’t find one with a glass jar. I’m not sure how durable the plastic collar and blade housing will be, so not sure how long it will last. It seems fine for the type of blender that it is.
