S pen isn't sturdy enough to stay in phone...

The pen wouldn't stay in my phone and I ended up losing it...within a month...it literally fell out to never be seen again (yes it was in all the way ad clicked into place)...they are too expensive to not be secure in your phone
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To enable the S Pen proximity alert, follow these steps:

2. Tap on **S Pen** and toggle on **Warn if S Pen is left behind**.

Cheap terrible s-pen easily breaks in half - JUNK!

Fragile pen broke in half inside phone and now the tip half is stuck in there. Tried all the tips on the interwebs. Can't get it out. Now either going to have to live with no pen or spend more money to get it removed and more money to order a replacement. This, combined with the enormous camera bulge make purchasing the S26 Ultra the worst purchase I have ever made from Samsung. If I could get my S25 Ultra back I would in a heartbeat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A DOWNGRADE

I absolutely hate the S26 Ultra and it's S-pen. I wish it had been advertised that the pen was redesigned without Bluetooth capabilities. Its such a useless expensive tool now. Yeah, it may still write and tap but not if you have the phone in a magnetized case!!! I'd gladly downgrade back to the S24 Ultra if I could get it back. Such a disappointment 😞

Worst decision on the s pen

S26 Ultra S-Pen

If you use the S-pen do not buy a S26 Ultra, does not work compared to previous versions, mine is only a couple of months old and AI is saying I need to replace the nib. But I think the internal hardware is broken, have a silicone case as you cannot have a magnetic case. Sensor misses first part of your writing then continues when pen is not near screen. I have had S pen since original galaxy note. I will not be buying another Samsung phone again!

Let's start with using the pen on the S26U with no case. Works for the most part. A bit jumpy, and no better than if I was wearing gloves trying to use my finger. Now if you add in a magsafe case, forget it. You will get a notification that there is a magnetic accessory detected and it will hardly work on the screen. Maybe one or two taps before its not aligned and glitches out. Then on top, it doesn't have almost any of the capabilities from my last one that came with my S22U
