Latch is totally defective, lost my pen after 3 we

I just got this brand new S26 Ultra about three weeks ago, and my S Pen is already gone. The internal spring latch mechanism on this phone is definitely defective, because the pen kept popping out on its own without me ever touching it. Yesterday it must have unlatched itself while I was out running errands, and it fell out completely. I can't find it anywhere. I had an S23 Ultra before this and never had a single issue with the pen staying put, so the build quality on this new one is really disappointing. It's incredibly frustrating to deal with a broken part on a brand new premium phone, especially since it caused me to lose the stylus completely.

Too many issues

I had gotten the s26 ultra during release and I have to say I'm disappointed in the new s pen quality. First, it's now mostly plastic, making durability less than. Second, why must it be set in the phone a specific way? And lastly, the most important to me for ever sticking with s pen phones since the notes, the calibration is off with a lag in response as well as pressure sensitivity is not strong enough. I have to press harder than necessary against the screen to draw or write, and the nib feels more like rubber struggling to slide along the screen. I've struggled in art apps with this inaccurate stylus and there is no fixing it, nor there being a calibration program, without replacing screen or entire phone. I have tried every method suggested on the internet and no improvement. Never had a single issue, personally, with the previous models that featured the s pen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Defective S-Pen

I had this phone for about a month. The s-pen cracked by the clicker and fell apart after use and because of the defect and it falling apart since support claimed it's physical damage instead of a defect samsung refuses to replace it. So now I'm out of an s-pen and I replacing it isn't an option for me right now.

S Pen Blues

Same story here. I traded from a 23 to a 26 six weeks ago. Dropped my phone and now have a 3 1/2 inch pen. How do I get the remaining part of the pen out of the holder? No problem here paying for a replacement pen. Please advise on how to acess. Thank you. Antonio

Needs Bluetooth or smart things addition

There is no reason an expensive phone like this shouldn't have a way to find the pen that is built in. It needs to have Bluetooth or the option to add it into Smart Things. Even a little beeping to lead you to it. It doesn't have to use those things to use it (though the option to use the pen to take pictures again for example) but an option would be nice... And a way to find the darn thing when it falls out or it gets sucked to where the lost socks go.

I have owned every Note and Ultra Samsung has ever made.. Disregard those that state it breaks. I have never broken an s-pen. Ever. They are breaking themselves. Plus, it has warnings if left behind, is extremely responsive and precise and and it has camera control. I will continue to always own one. Well I will, once I can afford to buy a new one because I left it at a bar, lol.

I didn't even get to try it out. My brand new S26 ultra slipped out of my pocket while i was sitting down at a restaurant and the s pen flew out and broke.
My s23 has fallen a few times and not once did the s pen come out.
