Nostalgic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gel pens are great for journaling and everyday planner use.
I love the variety of the gift set because it comes with the classic colors (standard notes), metallic colors (titles/headers), and glitter colors (icons and doodles).
There really is only a slight difference in the three types of gel inks. The regular blue is glittery when wet, but dries matte. The metallic is the same, but the glitter pens are glittery when wet and dry. All are very pigmented and pretty colors.
The one thing that threw me off to begin with is that they look like they have caps. It’s actually not a cap, that’s just a design feature. They are clicker pens! Which is great, (and also terrible) as I have adhd. I love to fidget!
This gift set comes with a pouch to store and carry all the pens. But since there are so many, it takes a second to find the color you are looking for. Thankfully the caps match the colors quite nicely and help you locate the correct color.
The pouch is also large enough to store all the pens in this set. I have pencils and a couple markers in there as well, and there is still more room.
It’s also nice that the pen has a front pocket to access your most used pen. Mines obviously the black one I can grab for quick use.
I personally wouldn’t have made the interior of the pouch lining white, as this will obviously get dirty quite quickly.
It would be nice to see if this gift set came in other colors besides a blue pouch. Pink and black would also be nice options.
The only negative I have (and it comes with the gel pen territory), is that it takes a second to dry. These aren’t quick drying pens. Lefties, beware. However it does dry faster on matte (plain) paper, than satin (semi-gloss) or glossy paper.
Overall this is a perfect decorative gel pen set, that’s great for journaling, planners, or everyday doodling to pass the time.
Really takes me back to the 90s/00s again and how gel pens were all the rage. I STILL love using them. This gift set would be perfect for that special millennial in your life!

Love these: so colorful and write well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these pens. They’re pretty standard as far as comfort goes, but I love that they’re retractable but still keep the original gel pen cap style. I was so excited when they finally arrived. I barely got to open them before my kid stole them from me. We’ve been playing with them all morning. They write smooth and have such a great variety of colors.

Best Gel Pens!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best gel pens I’ve ever used. This set has all the colors that you will ever needed. I love the collection of colors. The quality is super great and they write very smooth because the ink flows very consistently. My daughter loved the glitter pens and of course she claimed those. She loves to draw so i will probably buy her a set for her school and drawings. I also like the case/pouch that came with it so I can keep them organized. This set is a great choice for the school age kids and the adults.

Fun colors, smooth writing

Love that it comes with a pouch to store them after use. Retractable so don’t have to worry about loosing the lids to them. Comes in many colors sparkly and non which is super fun to color with. Highly recommend the gelly roll gel pens!

Great Pens, Nice Packaging with Minor Issue with C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gelly roll retraceable gift set is a solid set of pens. They write smoothly. The ink flows as well, and the colors are vibrant and consistent. I’ve always liked how Gelly Roll pins perform and these are no exception.
The packaging is also very nice and makes the set feel gift-worthy. The only downside was that one of the buttons on the carry case broke immediately before I even had a chance to use it. The pens themselves are excellent, but the durability of the case could be better.

Smooth, vibrant, retractable gel pens- just need y

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Jelly Roll retractable gel, ink pens .8 mm medium point, and I’m seriously impressed! They write so smoothly and consistently no skipping at all. I love the variety of colors included in the special edition set the glitter and metallic options. Add such a fun touch, especially for journaling and creative projects. One of my favorite features is that the retractable so you don’t have to worry about losing caps or the ink drying out when you first opened them there’s a small wax ball on each tip to keep them fresh. Just remove it and they’re ready to go such a smart design. The set also came with a really nice well-made case that keeps everything organized. My kids had an absolute blast using these and stayed busy creating for hours. The only thing I suggest is adding a true yellow and a brown shade to the collection, there was a metallic gold, but no regular yellow and brown wood round out the color range nicely. Overall, I highly recommend these pens for journaling, notetaking, or any creative projects.

The color variety is fantastic. You get a well balanced mix of classic shades such as black, red, blue and other metallic shade variety that include soft pastels, vibrant brights and the classic in metallic as well.
The 0.8mm tip lays down so smooth and the ink flows evenly with minimal skipping.
I’m very impressed with the color payoff of the pastel shades as well.
Highly recommend for anyone that wants to elevate their daily writing or creative projects with a touch of color and sparkle.
