My task was a dual purpose project. Remove cracked pool tiles for new tiles, and the battery powered oscillating tool prove to do the job in an excellent matter where I did not have to use corded oscillating tool with chance of electrocution and cut bolt heads in tight spaces.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 20V MAX XR® Brushless Cordless 3-Speed Oscillating Multi-Tool Kit* (2.0 Ah Battery) is an outstanding tool for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts. Its ergonomic design ensures comfortable use over extended periods. The tool features a well-balanced body with a soft-grip handle that reduces vibration, which is a key advantage when tackling tough projects. The 3-speed selection offers versatility, allowing users to adjust performance for different tasks, from sanding to cutting through wood or metal. The variable-speed trigger provides excellent control, enabling precision in delicate applications and power when needed for more demanding tasks.
One of the standout features is the tool-free blade change system, which makes switching between blades quick and easy. Simply release the lever to remove and attach blades without the need for additional tools, saving time on the job. Additionally, the blade angle adjustment is straightforward, allowing the user to quickly change the angle to suit various positions and cuts.
With its brushless motor, the tool delivers impressive power and long-lasting performance. It’s capable of heavy-duty work without overheating, providing reliable results for a variety of jobs. Overall, this multi-tool is a great combination of power, flexibility, and ease of use.
I bought this to help with some cutting in tight spaces. I thought it would fit in between a gap and cut the nails holding my stair treads(w/ asbestos tile glued on) in place. It did just as I planned and saved me time and money for asbestos abatement. The sanding element works better than my belt sander and helped install the new stair treads with ease. I've used it for small cuts, larger cuts, sanding wood, and chipping away at concrete. It's been great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the tool for a month. Used to remove grout and tile from a kitchen backsplash. The power from this compact tool made quick work of the grout. I’ve also used the metal cutting attachment to cut a few nails holding shelves together. You still need forceable pressure but the cut was clean and quick.
