I would buy this product again

Drawers open very smoothly and latch very well also. I don't know why I waited this long to buy this file cabinet. Prior to purchasing it I was filing everything in boxes and small file folders.

[...] Unfortunately the filing cabinet was dented and one of the drawers was broken. It had to be returned.

I am very pleased with this file cabinet - a great buy for the price. Staples filing cabinet is comparable in quality to other "brand" names.

26 1/2" is DEPTH not height
on June 28, 2010

Guess it was my mistake but I needed a filing cabinet to fit under a West Elm Parson's Desk... I thought this was 26 1/2" but it turns out that's the depth not the height. Called Staples and they're going to have someone come back tomorrow and pick it up. Just thought I'd leave this in a review to help the next person avoid making this mistake. (This is not the kind of filing cabinet you'd want to have in a loft or open-plan apartment it's very bulky and noticeable.)
