Great cabinet for the price

Don't waste time and money on a cabinet that has to be assembled. This cabinet was delivered and came in one peice. Drawers are great and it's a bit deeper so storage is great. Files hang smoothly and it is sturdy. Very happy with it!

Works great!!!

This works great for my home office. It was a little bigger than I had anticipated in the depth but it fits great in my office. The lock works well and I have not had any issues with it.

It's up and it's good

Third file cabinet purchased from Staples; only problem was this item was not in stock at the local store the first time I tried to buy it which seemed strange since it is a very standard black 4-drawer letter size file.

20% unusable space
on February 20, 2012

The drawers are 21" deep but when pulled all the way out almost 4.5" at the back of the drawers are still INSIDE the cabinet and thus virtually unusable -- 20 percent of the depth. What a waste!

Better than expected for the price

Compared this in the store to the HON which was more expensive. The HON's drawers did not slide smoothly and appeared flimsy compared to the Stapes Brand. This comparison confirmed results that other reviewers had made. After 4 weeks still very satisfied with product for the price
