Awesome

It was made much better than I thought all the draws locked when closed didn't need the old metal racks to hold the hanging folder. And the price was great. Thank you

File Cabinet Clears up Home Clutter
on January 10, 2013

This cabinet replaces smaller and less sturdy models and I am looking forward to a clutter-free office. I wish it was about 2 inches less deep so I could fit it into my closet and could remove the drawers to make it lighter for moving. Eventually I plan to scan many of the files to reduce the paper clutter so another cabinet won't be needed. I bought mine on sale and online with free shipping and delivery so regard it as a good value.

GREAT Value!!!

For the price I expected a piece of tin that would hold some papers. I was pleasantly surprised with the good quality ease of opening and sturdy design. You can't beat this unit for the money!

Flimsy poorly packed and damaged
on January 9, 2013

This is built with very thin sheet metal no internal frame or bracing and light-duty slides; and is packed with minimal protection. When unboxed it had multiple serious dents and inoperable drawers from damage either at the warehouse or when one end of the box fell 9 inches from my truck bed onto the flat tailgate as I unloaded it. The quality and packing of this product are very disappointing (given the price) and I don't have any confidence that the product is strong enough to function when the drawers are filled with files.

functional file for security of files
on January 9, 2013

found that the lock is difficult if the drawers are not absolutely closed. It took several trials to get the file to lock. The file is light and therefore might benefit from a device to attach it to a wall for greater stability.
