File Cabinet received damaged 3x
on October 28, 2013

I ordered 2 of these filing cabinets. Both came in badly dented. Sent them back and they came back to me dented again. I just kept them since they were damaged in the back side and that would be up against the wall and not noticable. Drawers rolled in / out fine. Just a shame they were not packed better for shipping.

I am very happy with it. Very sturdy

I am very happy with my 2 drawer file. It did arrive with a dent toward the back which does not hinder the open and closure of the drawer. The box was not damaged so it must have been dented before shipping. The dent does not show since I have it next to my desk. I had checked on line with other venders and at a couple of other stores and this item was better than others I had found. It was important to me to be able to lock it as I have people in and out of my house every day. I did place my order in the Greeneville TN store and want to commend them for their professionalism and courtesy.

Great filing cab good value for the money durable and not flimsy like some others. The drawers have high sides so is ready to hang file folders as soon as you unwrap it no further wire hangers needed.

Poorly Made!

Drawers do not close evenly as they have a gap about 1/4" on each side.

Better than the cheaper ones

I had purchased the less expensive drawers a few years back and these were definitely a step up. Pay the few extra dollars and make the move up for your home office.

Great for our needs

We were really needing more storage space at the office ant this stylish filing cabinet fit the bill. I love the black color and so far it isn't showing scuffs or anything on it. The drawers are really easy to open and most importantly for confidential files it has a lock already installed. It has definitely been a life saver and we immediately put it to good use. The sales people at the store were very helpful in choosing the cabinet and carried it to the car for me and helped load it - of course that kind of customer service is what brings me back to Staples time after time.
