Flimsy

Filing cabines looks nice from the outside but is very flimsy. The inside is just plain silver metal. Looks like they forgot to finish it. Cabinet itself is exact to the measurements.

Very satisfied!

Just what I wanted. Filing made easy. I had tried to save money previously and bought a very inexpensive smaller file. Was very difficult to file and find items.

Good Homeowner File

This is not a commercial grade file. It is a good unit for household filing and record storage. It has a suspension system that allows the drawers to pull out over 90% of their length. It has a mickey-Mouse system instead of a proper follow-block behind the files: there is a formed wire that can be tucked into holes in the drawer but you need to remove some files to move it. Note There is NO SAFETY INTERLOCK -- BOTH DRAWERS CAN BE OPENED AT THE SAME TIME!

Four Draw Black Legal File Cabinet
on January 14, 2015

I have been looking to buy a new file cabinet for my community meeting room to store our corpate files I started looking in the papers and then on the internet when I came upon three of the local super box stores that carry this item. After checking with all three stores I finally settled on Staples. After speaking with the sales rep of the other box stores I found that staples had the best deal. I went online to the staples site typed in what I was looking for and up popped some of the different types of file cabinets. Its god to know what you want and its easy to navagate around the site. There are different ways to view the items by cost or file size. When I found the one that I was looking for there were two different color cabinets and different size draws from legal to letter. There is also the number of draws you can choose from. I setled on the one I wanted and filled out the quick and easy order form. After giving my credit card info the purchase was fast and smooth. The delivery was free which is a blessing because it can cost a lot to deliver. The cabinet arrived 2 days latter and they delivered it to our meeting room.

It is very sturdy came fully assembled and doesn't tip over. The drawers pull out fully on an easy rolling track and holds so much more and easier to get to than my old smaller irritating file cabinet!

Arrived in good condition. Cabinet is not as heavy duty as our other cabinet we've had for years but for the price we paid we are happy with our purchase!
