Excellent quality and prompt delivery

I'd been considering a HON filing cabinet and could see little difference between it and the Staples one except for the additional $100 that the HON would cost. Some of the reviews were a little mixed but on the whole this model got good enough reviews that we risked it. It arrived two days later and was in perfect condition. Once the drawers are removed (I had to google how to do that... turns out you have to hold one little black lever upwards and the other downwards on the drawer rails and then just pull) it was light enough for me to carry up the stairs. All together a great buy.

Staples Vertical File Cabinet Review

After looking at a lot of different cabinets at various websites I decided on this one because of the depth locking feature and good reviews. The price seemed reasonable but I must admit I had gift cards to use. However the Staples 25% off coupon was also enticing. There was a glitch in the order but nothing to get mad at Staples about. It's very heavy (not fun getting it up the stairs) and is a solid cabinet. Drawers open nicely and don't seem to bend or dip so far. It can hold A LOT of folders. So overall a very solid well-built cabinet.

The Staples vertical file cabinet is one of several I have purchased in the past 10 years for my growing medial practice. In addition to the black sleek look it has been a very sturdy and reliable product.

Does the job

This is a fine full-sized file cabinet. It is the best value you can find and it does the job. Does it glide and feel like a cabinet twice its price? No. Definitely not. But it is acceptable especially if you will not be in and out of it multiple times a day.

I ordered this file cabinet on line. What a mistake. The mechanism to hold the files in place is ridiculously cheap. To move files in the drawer I will need to remove them each time to readjust the file dam. This is going back to staples today.

4-drawer locking file cabinet

They told me it was easy to set up easy to lock and unlock and came without any scratches. It was a bit wobbly but they didn't know if it was due to the tile floor but a small piece of cardboard fixed it. It was an excellent deal right when we needed them.

File Cabinet

I had an old file cabinet... the drawers stuck and the cabinet would tip if you opened the top drawer at the same time as the bottom or even by itself. This model is perfect without being too heavy for my husband to carry it into the house by himself. It holds exactly what I need for working out of my home and our personal files. The hanging files hang perfectly and move well within the drawers. The buttons you need to push to open the drawers are easy to push which is important to me as I have arthritis in my hands. It was a great Christmas gift!!
