Staples Vertical File Cabinet
on February 4, 2015

This very affordable four drawer file cabinet comes already assembled. The file cabinet is very sturdy. The four drawers are deep - all four drawers pull out completely for easy access to the files. The "grooves" on the sides of the drawers allow for easy streamlined filing. I had issues with the delivery of the cabinet - came on the wrong day - I wasn't home and they left the cabinet on my front porch (even tho I didn't sign a release). It was a challenge to get the cabinet in by myself -- it was too late to get the drivers to come back and provide assistance. Customer support was understanding when I reached out and they provided a gift certificate.

Suits my needs and price is right.

My accounting business is growing and I needed a four drawer file cabinet to store workpapers and supplies. This file cabinet is perfect. I like the built in grooves for hanging folders and the color matches an existing cabinet.

I own a body shop so there is dust and dirt everywhere and this is tough enough to with stand the guys. the last file cabinet that I had could not handle all the dust the gets in the office and the drawers did not work as smooth.

Serves the purpose...

As with some of the other reviews my cabinet also arrived dented. The shipping carton was in good condition on the outside but somehow the cabinet has several dents and creases. I attribute this to the VERY THIN sheet metal used in the construction of this unit. I have a HON cabinet that sits next to this one and it far superior to this Staples file cabinet but given the reviews of the HON cabinets and their apparent lack of quality I opted to give this one a try. I got it at a great price and it serves the purpose for which it was intended but I doubt it will hold up over time under the light use it will see. Hope I am wrong.
