STURDY EXCELLENT SIZE OKAY PUTTY COLOR NEXT TO WOODEN DESK & SAME SIZE FILE . WOULD HAVE PREFERRED COLOR CLOSER TO WOODEN COMBINED DESK AND FILE BUT SIZE WISE THE METAL FIT WELL. AND ACTUALLY I FEEL THE METAL FILE CABINET IS PERHAPS STRONGER AND OPENS WITH MORE EASE. ALSO THE METAL STRUCTURE IS MORE FLEXIBLE WITH HANGING FILES AND SPACING.

Sturdy drawers work easily. Locks and unlocks nicely. Was not happy with the customer service at Staples though. It was a chore for the girl to help us to place the order online.

Staples 4-drawer letter file cabinet

This cabinet lacks in convenience to pull the drawers out fully to allow access to files at the rear of the drawers. You have to extend your hand to the rear area of the drawer and pull those files forward to view or reach files at the back of the drawer. Other than this the cabinet stores files fine.
