Staples 4-Drawer Letter Size Cabinet

Overall the quality is very decent for the price and free shipping this product sure took the headache out of moving around a 4-drawer file cabinet. Liked the 26.5 inch depth of the cabinet which was a lot more space for very little more money. Also liked the high side walls on each drawer which is used as folder hangers and eliminates the need and cost of using folder racks for the inside of each drawer- a lot more simpler process. Packaging of this product was more than adequate and scheduling delivery was easy and uneventful.

The holders that keep the files in place are not like they used to be in our other file cabinets and are much more difficult to use.

Great product...just one small detail

The file cabinet it's drawers it's locking aspect all work well. But the way it is shipped the key is in zippered on to the outside of the top drawer: not an obvious of visible place. I thought I was going to have to return the cabinet because it had come without a key. It took three phone calls to Staples customer service to figure out where it was! All Customer Service employees should be informed about where the key is attached for shipping.

Although they did not have the cabinet in the store the sales associate was very helpful in getting it ordered for me and it arrived at my home in just a couple of days. And since I am older the delivery man brought it into my room for me which helped immensely. All in all it was a very positive experience.

This was a replacement for an "old tin can" of a file cabinet that broke. This one is very sturdy and well built. Excellent value for the money.
