The file cabinet arrived in a box with 2 holes punched in the side. When we opened the box there were 2 corresponding dents in the file cabinet at the level of the third draw down from the top. Fortunately the dents don't affect the function. The draw does open and close easily as it should. The rating is based on the condition it arrived in. It is actually a very nice file cabinet. The price was great and the service/delivery was prompt. We don't want to return it.

next day delivery was great; product was in perfect condition; fits perfectly in a small space I had and not overly heavy content (just paper files).

I was hoping to have a file cabinet I could actually store files in but the first time I tried to open the drawers the second one down would not open. I had to work on the latch with what tools I had available and was finally able to get it open. Now I'm afraid to close it again. There's a few metal rods in the bottom drawer that evidently are supposed to be used to keep file folders from falling down but I'm accustomed to having a rod down the middle of the drawer with a way to move the device for keeping the files vertical instead of falling down.I guess I shouldn't have expected much at this price and wish I had spent my money on something better.
