A fine addition to the home office

It took a little time to get the adjustments just right but now I truly enjoy using it—and my feet definitely thank me. It’s amazing how something so simple can make such a difference. I never really thought much about my posture while sitting at my computer but I can definitely feel an improvement. After testing the footrest’s adjustable angles for a few days I found that I didn’t need much tilt for my feet—they rest comfortably with just a slight pitch. I also like the overall look and the textured design which provides great grip for your feet and adds some nice comfort when I’m barefoot. Since it spends most of its time out of sight I think form is just as important as function. Before this I never considered a footrest a necessity but it’s really made me rethink my posture and other potential needs for my office setup. I would definitely recommend a footrest to anyone considering one.

It feels solid and does a good job of keeping me supported throughout the day. Posture Improvement: It’s definitely helped my posture while working. Having my feet supported takes pressure off my legs and I’ve noticed I sit more comfortably for longer. I also like that I can rock my feet a little on it—it’s not an official feature but it makes sitting still easier for me. Look and Design: The design is simple but practical. I really like the textured bumps on top because they keep my feet from sliding around. My only complaint is that without a stopper on the bottom it slides a bit on my wood floors. Ease of Adjustment: Adjusting it is straightforward—the lever underneath makes changing the height or angle quick and hassle-free. What I Liked Most: What I like most is how adjustable it is and how much more comfortable it makes sitting at my desk. Little things like being able to move my feet around without losing support really make a difference.

Home Office Must Have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this ergonomic foot rest and can’t imagine not having it in my home office! It has helped my posture while sitting at my desk for long periods of time. There are two different heights for the foot rest which is perfect for me (5’1) and my husband (6’1). I do like that the foot platform is not locked and does allow you to tilt the foot rest back/forth. The material is durable and easy to clean and I can see this lasting a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cool ergonomic footrest for folks who use a standard desk chair and height. When using adjustable chair or desk at taller heights this might not be the best fit for you. The straightforward design and color is great for a professional or educational environment. I was able to rock my feet back and forth allowing me to fidget while working! It was a bit tricky adjusting the height but once I got the hang of it it was smooth sailing.

A footrest that provides better posture over time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Ergonomic Footrest is a good starting tool for better posture circulation and support. Because of its compact lightweight design it is easy to transport and setup although its appearance is quite unremarkable. The footrest can be adjusted higher or lower based on comfort and personal preferences. Initially adjusting the footrest felt flimsy as I was not aware what was the best way to have my feet placed for my height (5’2”). Despite this the footrest design still offered good support. Rocking the feet while seated helped to reduce foot and leg fatigue over time and was my favorite feature of the product. I have felt less lower back pain in just over a week of use. It is unclear whether my posture has improved in this short timeframe but the few minor changes seem to be reducing pressure and strain to the lower body. My only complaint would be that an instruction manual would be helpful in determining the correct adjustments for each person. Overall I would recommend the Staples Footrest when starting your journey to better ergonomic health!

The office accessory we did not know we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We weren't impressed when we first received the Staples Ergonomic Footrest. It was light and it didn't seem like there was much to it. But now the fact that it doesn't weigh much is a huge asset because I am always stealing it out from under my husbands desk. It is easily adjustable and really makes a difference in how long I am willing to sit. At first my husband thought it was unnecessary but now he is always stealing it back. When we use it we each feel better at the end of the day because it improves our posture and comfort. I guess now we'll need to get a second for days we both work from home.
