Works great for new chef

Works great. This is my first big mixer, and I’ve successfully made olive oil cake. Only disappointment was the whisk is not dishwasher safe.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Think before you buy

I wish very much I had bought the machine with the arm that raises up. I'm sorry, this machine is a real pain to use. You have to lower the bowl every time you scrape it or add ingredients. If you want to take the beater out you have to remove the bowl completely. The beater is no where near the bottom of the bowl and I need to adjust that someday. It also has a shrill noise when it runs that is super annoying. At this point I don't even want to use it. I still have my smaller lift arm machine and that is what I will use until it dies. On the other hand, once I get the beater length figured out, the new machine should work for very large batches. Does not work well for small batches.

Glad I was able to get this mixer

My old Kitchen aid died over the Christmas holiday after 20+ years it just quit in the middle of mixing cookie dough. I am very happy with the new one, it works great, much quieter, and I love the 1/2 speed it's great for folding in whipped cream or egg whites.

Great condition. A little louder than my smaller kitchen aid, but that might just be the product in general. I am still trying to figure out how to remove the paddle a bit easier with a larger and thicker batch of dough, but that could just be user error. Great product!
