The Birdfy Terra is a nice compact smart camera bird feeder. Right out of the box it is easy to put together and fill with seeds. Linking it to the Birdfy app is also simple. Because it is made entirely of plastic, it's a breeze to clean and much more durable in the elements than a wooden feeder. The quality of the pictures and videos is impressively clear. The ability to live stream and easily share videos and pictures with friends and family is also a fun feature. My favorite part is the built in solar panel, which allows for continuous charging and also eliminates the need to mount a separate solar panel. It also comes with a limited amount of AI bird identifications each day which is a fair option if you don't want to purchase a monthly subscription. Overall, it is a very budget friendly and durable option for beginner or advanced bird watchers that provides high quality footage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’m really pleased with the Birdfy Terra. The whole thing snapped together in about a minute, and mounting it took about the same. Getting it connected in the app was a breeze, too. I appreciated being able to get straight to using it without spending ages on setup.
The photos and video look fantastic. That’s been the standout for me. It doesn’t always recognize the animals it detects (squirrels and mice), but I suspect that comes down to the camera angle and how close they get to the lens. It’s not something I’m particularly bothered by, though it’s worth knowing that it won’t identify every visitor.
One thing to check before choosing your mounting spot: the instructions say the solar panel should face south. The panel sits at a fixed angle on one side of the roof, and you can’t rotate it or reverse the roof, so following that guidance determines which way the feeder and camera face as well. A bit more flexibility would be nice, but it’s really just something to keep in mind when deciding where to put it, not really a big issue.
I’d happily recommend it. There’s very little work involved in getting it going, and the picture quality makes me glad I chose it.

This feeder has a solar panel which keeps the camera charged and it holds quite a bit of feed, so it's more low maintenance than some of the other feeders. I like that the perch bends around, so the camera catches more action. This feeder from Birdfy not only looks good, but functions well.
