Walkabout 6 Review
on December 24, 2022
Posted by: Michael
This is an excellent quality, light-weight checked suitcase with deep pockets large enough to pack for a week+ trip. It has four durable wheels, so you can easily glide it across the floor or pull it behind you as needed. The top handle is comfortable and has two different lockable height options. The hardware appears to be well made with easy to open and close zippers. There is a large exterior pocket deep enough to fit a pair of shoes. The main pocket is expandable and has two interior pockets - one large section on the top and a smaller side pocket that is perfect for undergarments or accessories. I would recommend this suitcase.

I LOVE the Lilac Color!!!!

I am beyond impressed with this beautifully lilac colored bag. The bag is a nice size but is also very light and easy to handle. I was able to pack my daughters clothes as well as mine for a weekend trip with plenty of space remaining. The wheels glided perfectly making it easier to maneuver around check points. I would give this bag 100 stars if I could!

Great Updated Bag

I love this new bag. I currently have a number of pieces of the Maxlite 5 luggage, but the Walkabout improves on several areas of the Maxlite. The handle is heavier and more comfortable to use, the wheels are improved, and the expandability is great. Really nice piece of luggage!

Travelpro is the BEST!

Our family owns six Travelpro bags, and the Walkabout 6 (our seventh!) does not disappoint. The suitcase is light and agile—love the spinner wheels. My eleven-year-old has no problem navigating the case despite its ample capacity. The interior boasts a zippered lid compartment and a smaller side pocket, both extremely helpful in organizing all the necessary things. I find that packing cubes are indispensable when traveling, and this suitcase can easily hold multiple sets. It is truly the perfect package for extended travel.
Although I haven't had this suitcase for long, I can vouch for the durability of Travelpro suitcases and bags as a whole based on the six my family owns. We've had a couple of them for over six years and after many, many trips through baggage handling, they still look and perform great.
