[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 10 is an absolute powerhouse. The Intel processor combined with the RTX 5070 delivers outstanding performance, whether gaming, streaming, or working. The build quality feels premium, the keyboard is incredibly comfortable, and the cooling system keeps everything running smoothly even under heavy load. The display is bright, sharp, and perfect for both gaming and productivity. Truly exceeded my expectations. Five stars without hesitation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently ordered the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i with the RTX 5070 and i9‑14900HX, and I want to share my experience because this machine has exceeded expectations in every meaningful way.
Ordering & Pricing: I was able to purchase this laptop during a great sale, and Lenovo also applied an additional student discount at checkout. That combination made the value even more impressive — especially considering the level of hardware you get in this configuration. For the price I paid, the performance and build quality feel like they belong in a much higher tier.
Performance: At first, I ran a third‑party benchmark that incorrectly suggested my GPU was underperforming. After installing the full 3DMark suite, the results told the real story. My Legion scored 29,250 in Fire Strike and 2719 in Steel Nomad, which aligns perfectly with high‑end RTX 5070 laptop performance. The system runs cool, stable, and consistently delivers the power it promises.
Display & Build Quality: The 165Hz OLED panel is stunning. Colors, motion clarity, and brightness are all top‑tier. The build feels solid, the keyboard is comfortable, and the overall design is clean and professional.
Thermals & Power Modes: Once switched into Performance Mode, the laptop really opened up. The cooling system handles heavy loads without throttling, and the fans stay surprisingly reasonable for the amount of power this machine pushes.
Overall Impression: This Legion has proven itself to be a reliable, high‑performance system that punches well above its price point. I’m extremely satisfied with the purchase and appreciate Lenovo delivering a laptop that performs exactly as advertised — and in some cases, better. The sale price plus the student discount made this an even easier recommendation.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop arrived in a Legion specific box which was very cool. The laptop itself is amazing. It is a huge upgrade from my old laptop and is able to run what I want (games, browsers, coding apps, etc.) very smoothly and efficiently. I am very glad I found this computer and will be using it for the next 5 or 6 years minimum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the rtx 5070 variant. Performance is too good. The screen quality is also very nice and I am in love with the thermal performance of this laptop. GPU temperatures haven't gone above 75 even after gaming with raytracing for 2+ hours.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very strong spec for a laptop. Sadly, I had to return mine as the lid appear to be warped. One corner had too much play. I would have gladly waited to a lid replacement but where I live - onsite service could be a challenge. I was able to secure an RMA and as of this writing the laptop is received back but I do not have the refund yet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this laptop is all that you would need for your daily usage and gaming. Though, I must mention that the battery life is a bit on the downside. My model is 5070 with i9 and that lasts around 2 hours on battery while on normal mode. I could maybe gain a few extra minutes by decreasing the refresh rate and such, but it still won't amount to much. Despite this, the performance of the laptop is top-notch, just remember to carry the charger while traveling.
