I purchased the TV Speaker and a pair of refurbished Bose Wireless Sport headphones. The TV Speaker works great. A big difference if you are looking for something simple to enhance your TV sound. Easy to hook up! The refurbished headphone could have been brand new - no difference here. Incredible sound. As always, Bose delivers. Trusted products that are of the highest quality. Here’s a company where you get what you pay for in a good way! Worth every cent, every time. Thanks Bose!

Simple way to upgrade TV sound!

So much simpler than a fancy, multi-piece surround system and it fit perfectly on the shelf above our TV and vanished into the decor. Before Bose, every time we turned our TV up either it distorted, or the dialog was still buried. This speaker is so clear and even has a dialog mode. We did not realize how much bass we were missing in our music listening until we heard this speaker. One cable for the TV and Bluetooth for our mobile devices.

Hello. I purchased the solo 5 after buying a wave 4 radio CD player. The radio/CD player performed well. I bought the solo 5 to help clarify the sound on some of the streaming films made in other English speaking countries. Part of the issue is the assorted dialects and accents, of course. The solo 5 does improve the acoustics for some films and enhances most musical productions.
I would have preferred a written manual over an online manual to refer to while watching and listening to TV. The unit is not visually encumbered with controls or signals, but it requires memorization of the color codes and sequences. Again, a printed manual enclosed with the unit would help.

Good Speaker and Great Price

Bought this just prior to Christmas with a special Bose Sale. Very nice enhancement and clarity to TV dialogue. Clearly a jump up to the Samsung TV built in speaker.

Don’t understand the remote?? Black on black? Don’t know what button you’re using!!
Can’t see the volume on the tv ? Can’t use the remote I have (1) to control the sound?? I need another remote just for the sound?? Crazy.
