Great flask, but unsure of lid longevity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'd say this flask is great, with excellent quality and some really well thought-out features, but I'm not 100% sure how well one piece of the lid in particular will hold up to long-term wear and tear. The lid makes use of an ingenious design that allows for easy one-handed locking and unlocking of the lid (very useful while driving) while still allowing the user to take the lid apart for thorough cleaning of all the interior bits, which is very much appreciated. There is however one large rubber "washer" piece that sits inside the lid that basically makes the whole thing work as well as it does - without that piece being fully functional, the design of the lid just wouldn't work at all. Given how important that piece is, I'd suggest being very careful when removing / washing it - you cannot purchase just this one piece separately, and you'd be forced to spend much more to purchase a whole new lid assembly (roughly 1/3 the cost of the flask). If this piece were available to purchase separately I'd definitely feel much less bothered by the thought of having to replace it!

Hot coffee all morning!

It keeps my coffee nice and hot all morning long, not just warm, as so many other mugs that claim to keep drinks hotter for longer do. It fits well in my cup holder and I love that it has a handle! Makes it super easy to grab when I have other stuff that I need to take into work or to the house. The lid is really cool and seals well to keep the coffee in with no leaking, and it's easy to clean with pieces that are easy to access and fully wash. Overall, I love it!

Stays hot for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that it has enough room ( 20 oz.) for for several cups of coffee with room to spare for any additional flavorings. Preheating the canister with hot water before filling it extends how long it stays hot. While I like the flex seal lid (and it does seal tight without any leaking), I find that I have to use two hands to hold the lid while twisting the top. Otherwise the lid tends to unscrew from the canister. Overall I really like this slim flask that fits in every spot I have used it.

Favorite coffee mug!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this Hydro Flask! I bring coffee everyday with me in the car on the drive to work. I can close the lid and it never leaks or spills. I actually have been just putting in my bag and away I go. When I get to work my coffee is still hot and remains hot for hours. Another plus, is that it is dishwasher safe. The entire lid separates into 3 pieces so I am sure that it is clean and no funky things are growing in there. Everyone should have one. I got it in white and love the white color! Cleans nicely.

I LOVE this cup/tumbler! So easy to take apart to clean the top and also to put back together. I can take coffee to work in the morning and rinse it all out for water later in the day. Would easily buy this again. Might need another color ;)

Useful features but...

I bought the 20oz coffee with the flex sip lid last night from a major sports retailer in town. The design is just what I was looking for, the easy to carry handle, and the secured flex sip lid. And it fits perfectly in the cup holder in my car. 24 hrs later, I sadly had to return my hydro flask. Every time I took a sip of my coffee, the liquid would leak from the lid and down my chin, wetting my shirt and seatbelt shoulder strap. For the price I wish the lid was leakproof.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
