Love the cup, lid is disappointing

I recently bought the 20 oz Hydro Flask Coffee mug w/Sip Lid. Really liked that you could take apart the lid and wash the individual pieces, that was the selling point for me. However, despite following the directions included with the mug, and the video on how to disassemble and reassemble the lid, it still leaks between the open/close piece and part that attaches to the mug, so I end up having coffee drip all over me. Wrote customer service and the video link was sent, as well as a replacement lid but not the sip one. The that was sent was one you have to take completely off put back on to get a drink. Not convenient when sipping on coffee. I love how warm it keeps the coffee for a long duration, just wish I didn't have to wear it when drinking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I work in construction as an electrician. I was looking for something durable, portable, and something that will keep the coffee hot for an extended period of time. This thing does not disappoint! I carry it clipped on my back pack with a carabiner. Does not spill. Excellent product, very well made.

I work overnight so by the time my shift will start to end my coffee is still hot after working eight or nine hours. This is the perfect gift for family& friends

I am so glad I bought this new coffee tumbler this lid is really amazing looks like to me that it will be hard to spell hot drinks if you put the lid on really tight on coffee tumbler.

Great when it works

I loved having a coffee cup that I didn't have to worry about it spilling everywhere when it tipped over. However, the lids are the downfall. My first lid started leaking a week or so after I bought it, I contacted customer service and they sent me another one right away (awesome!). I've had this one for a couple weeks and it's leaking again. And it's not like a little drip if it tips over, it's like a steady flow of coffee, right in front of your lip that ends up all down the front of you.
I love the idea, but the lid needs some help.
