I bought this as a replacement for a mug I lost after having it for 10 years (not a hydroflask). The new one does a good job keeping drinks hot but the lid design leaves something to be desired. It does not seal all of the way and generally leaks liquid when the lid is closed. Hydroflask should try design the lid and go with a standard flip top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the lids that sadly leaks. Love that my coffee stays warm but have to take extra precautions so I don't drip coffee on another blouse..

Great travel coffee container with one drawback

I'm still giving this 5 stars because it is really terrific and the drawback is very specific to what I'd like to use it for. The mouth will not fit a standard hario V60 pour over or the Aeropress. So I can't make coffee directly into it. I've tried and it leaks down the side. So I have to make my coffee in another container and pour it in which also spills.
I don't have any issues with the lids. I love it, doesn't leak. Keeps your coffee way hotter than you would expect for hours. HOURS!!
