I love hydro flask and have several products- but this lid for this is so so.. when you twist it- it’s easy to open the entire mechanism. It’s hard to seal it.. it doesn’t leak but it’s annoying to have to shut it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My daughter has been telling me to get a Hydro Flask for years as i was looking for a good travel mug to take to work that would keep my coffee hot for more than the 30 min ride to work. I love that this keeps my coffee hot all morning. The worst thing about this mug is the lid. Once i took it apart to clean it, i can't get it back together correctly. The red silicone seal won't line up correctly. It either leaks all over when I try to drink out of it or I can't drink out of the lid at all. It is VERY frustrating and disappointing because i love the mug itself. So now i have to take the lid totally off in order to drink it, which defeats the purpose of having a lid on it at my desk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use for my coffee every day! I'm a teacher and don't often get a chance to drink my coffee before it would get cold in other cups but it stays hot for hours in this bottle. The flex lid is leakproof and I love the carry strap!

I love coffee cup and it will keep my coffee hot for hours but the lid leaks. It’s not like a little leak either coffee basically pours out the side of this thing every time i take a sip.
