I love all my hydro flasks, I buy so many all the time and I recently bought the new straw lid as well. I take my hydro everywhere with me. I did drop mine on the cement and now the lid leaks so I need to buy another one asap.
Worst water bottle in every way. Dented. Scratched. Rusted. Leaks. You have to tighten the cap SO tight to keep it from leaking, you might not be able to open it when you’re thirsty. I’m so happy I did not pay full price. It’s in the cabinet. In the back. Should be in the trash.
Not better than anything that looks like it - just a lot more expensive. The outer wall may, actually be a lot thinner/weaker (or both) than Costco's Thermofask . I bought it for my 6 grade child that is, unfortunately, giving in to social pressure and brands. First day at school, she dropped it twice and brought it home with two major dents. I am saying that the outer wall may be inferior to the much cheaper Costco's Thermoflask because this is what my daughter had for two years and the dents are much smaller(I won't be sure of this unless I cut it and take measurements with my calipers). A good quality product would be made to last and this would include thicker/stronger materials. I personally don't think it is as good as a Thermoflask for multiple reasons but I don't want to make it sound as a commercial for Thermoflask; user experience is where it fails to measure up but you will "look cool" with the logo (and this is what you will end up paying for).
