Water stays fresh for very long which I love but it gets scratched and dent very easily. I wouldn’t recommend it for hiking as it won’t resist dents if it falls.

I got this bottle a month ago. The first time I used it it leaked. It continually leaks no matter how much I tighten the top. It has spilled in my car, in my purse, couches, everywhere. Buyer beware if you don't always have your water bottle in a holder or upright 24/7.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
