I have purchased this pot twice, thinking I had ruined the first one cooking but to my surprise after cooking one time with the second one purchased the bottom of the pot had a bunch of black pitted spots. (Same as first pot)...Very disappointed in the quality. I will not purchase any products from this brand again.

It works quite well on my gas cooktop. The best part is the big bottom - large enough so there is no boil over. Keeps cleaning my cooktop so easy. I use it to cook various dishes as well as a steamer.

This is a well made pot, with a good fitting lid. Not too heavy. Cleaned up easily.
I like that it has mesurements on the inside of the pot. I made 16 cups of polenta in it for a camp feed. Worked great and kept the polenta warm for an hour.
