Unstable

Had a classic Staples SPL-230 for many many years. Loved it. When it seemed to go dead I bought this one which seemed roughly equivalent. Good basic calculator but very unstable. The whole thing moves up and down when using buttons in the lower left corner. The old one was rock solid. The movement of the calculator gets annoying very quickly. Luckily the old one came back to life so I'm back to using it.

This calculator is easy to use and fast. It’s simple but does most of the kinds of calculations you need.

A bit early to ask since I very recently purchased; however seems to be a good replacement for that which I had for many years. With 'fingers crossed' I am looking forward to many years with THIS unit. Staples is my 'go-to' store: they are well-stocked and have reasonable prices (and there's always 'deals').

Just the right size for my home office. It is solar powered so I don't have to depend on batteries which seem to be difficult to acquire now.
