Temp of oil does not come to temp set on unit...terrible

Purchased at Sams and have used the product several times now..on all occasions the light would go off before the oil even got to 310. Set the unit for 375. The light would again come on and once it would go off again the oil temp, according to 3 digital thermometers, would only get to 330...not the 375 as needed....not as advertised..plus I called to customer service today and was told that only the heating element may get to 375 not the oil.....does not make sense...taken this back. JES

Bought this product maybe a month or so ago worked great and now it no longer drains it was always cleaned we tried soaking in hot water nothing not very happy

the fryer broke after less than 10 uses. when yo try and reach out to t-fal or their parts affiliate you get no help, and they send you to a website that is impossible to use to get replacement parts. i would never buy a t-fal product ever. poor quality because it broke after one a few time using it, but adding insult to injury, you can't get replacement parts.

Oil storage container need to be redesigned

The 1st time I used the Fryer I removed the oil storage container and attempted to pour the oil into a container for disposal. The cover which was locked in place came off as I poured it and dumped the complete contents on the counter, floor, myself, and kitchen carpet. took me 2 hours to clean the mess. I would not recommend this product. design needs to be changed to have additional locks on the storage container

Love it, and I am confused by the other reviewers!

I've had my fryer for about a month and have used it several times. I'm puzzled by the other reviews. Was the oil pan lid on tightly? To test my oil box, it put some water in it, closed the lid and shook it vigorously, no problem. The other review said the oil drained before it had cooled, my fryer has a control knob that you turn yourself when the oil has cooled (recommended 3 hours per manual) so I guess my model is not as automated as yours? Like I mentioned before, I love my fryer and do not miss my 'fry daddy' at all!!

Would not buy again

Lowest rating on any product ever purchased because it was broken when I received it. Didn't decide to use for some time and couldn't return as packaging was disposed of. Worst part of it all... you can't even get replacement part - already discontinued. Shows what they think of their own products. Save your money and buy something else.
