We bought a fryer about a year ago looking for something to make occasional fries, calamari and beer battered fish. Used it 8 times before it stopped working. The filtration works great, but that's all it does now is filter oil.Unit won't power on, we tried the factory reset to no avail. Very disappointed in the fryer.

Easiest Deep Fryer Ever

We bought this fryer about 2 years ago and use it on an average of twice a week. It's the best one we have ever owned and the easiest to clean. I will tell you that we move it outside to cook and bring it in once cooled only because I don't like the smell of grease in the house. It heats up quickly and most parts can go in dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Leaking and basket broke!

Sadly, in less than a year the clip to hold the basket has broken. I should have read all of the reviews because the plastic oil container also leaks. Hopefully, t-fal will stand behind its products!!!!

Poor product

I bought this fryer about 6mo ago and used it probably 10 times and the oil container started leaking out of the top. The plastic lid was warped and didn’t seal properly spilling oil all over the place. Trying to find a replacement was next to impossible. Here It sets a new piece of junk.

Nice Fryer

I was excited to get a fryer that filtered itself. The only neg is it only holds 1.8ltr. I'm looking for a larger one as I speak. Don't mess with the filter. This fryer has saved me a lot of oil over the 2 years it's been used.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unreadable manual

There is something that makes me furious. I purchased a compact easy-clean deep fryer. The manual that comes with it is printed in a tiny, virtually unreadable font. The illustrations are to small to figure out. I went online to look for the manual and there is no manual for the compact version. I assume it is the same as for the full-size version but it doesn't say. Even on my large screen, it comes up so small as to be unreadable. I am saying I would recommend it but only because I am forced to chose yes or no in order to post.
