Out of the box

Model 81714. It is exactly as described. Played with all the parts and vacuumed the house. It did a nice job. It was cumbersome, but that was expected. It is quieter than my shark duo. The powermate has its own light plus there is a light at the end of the telescoping wand. When using the floor brush there is no light at all, it would be nice if the light on the telescoping wand would come on. Not bad for day 1.

This is my third kemore canister and my second ultra plush. These are bulletproof!! I have been vacuum daily for 7 years with my last one, I have dogs and cats and it does a great job!

The pivoting head. Our old Kenmore did not have this feature. The old one was about 30 yrs old.

Love the long wand and being able to get low with the vacuum head and just dragged the canister instead of having a heavy upright vacuum.

Finally a vacuum with all attachments on board! Easy to maneuver and operate. The gold color is a bonus!
